MUSEUMS
& GALLERIES
'VIEW OF CORK', BY
NATHANIEL CROGAN (1780), FROM THE
COLLECTION OF THE CRAWFORD GALLERY IN CORK CITY.
Whilst
Cork city prides itself with its relationship with the arts, once away
from the urban areas the museums and galleries will dramatically reduce
in scale, but keep a sharp eye, for size can be deceiving. What many
lack in initial appearance they can make up for in fascination value.
Some small galleries have excellent works from local artists, strongly
influenced by the beautiful characteristics of this charming part of
Ireland.
