Tourist
Information Offices (TIOs) run by Regional Tourism Organisations
(RTOs) provide wealth of detailed tourist literature. In addition TIOs
provide an island-wide rooms reservation service for a small fee and
a 10% (non-refundable) booking deposit. Many small TIOs are open only
during summer months, so please check. Normal TIO opening hours are
9.00am-6.00pm Monday-Friday and to 1.00pm on Saturday. These may vary
during the summer months.
