entertainment in this popular annual fair.
Kavanagh Clan Rally, Ferns. Second weekend in September.
Held every other year to draw all clan members for a memorable hooley.
Don't be put off if your name is not Kavanagh — no-one will mind.
Kilkenny Arts Week, Kilkenny. End of August. Interesting
mix of classical music, art exhibitions, literary readings and folk
sessions at different venues throughout the week.
Kilmore Seafood Festival, Kilmore Quay. 2nd/3rd week of July.
Excellent opportunity to indulge in a great selection of seafood in
one of the most attractive and unusual of seaports.
New Ross Fair Days, New Ross. Mid June. A collection of sporting
antics from Fun Boxing to Singing Pub Contests to Bicycle Races, followed
by a Ball and festival queen crowning.
