The South East carries a distinctive flavour all of its own. Here, subtley
and sophistication rubs shoulders in a part of Ireland that holds much
of its ancient and medieval history. Softly spoken and ever-helpful,
its inhabitants take the same relaxed courses through life as do their
majestic rivers that meander through rolling countryside, verdant pastures
and the most pleasant woodlands in the whole country.
The South East enjoys more sun than anywhere else in Ireland and no-where
is this more evident than in the smiles of the people. Spread out across
its green and tranquil tableaux are famous towns each with their special
story to tell. Nothing here will encourage you to hurry, but to take
your time and enjoy the richness of the south east.
