Northern Ireland is a unique place. It embodies the best of many worlds in an area not much bigger than some English counties. Without ignoring the pace of modern life, people here still have time to talk and exchange pleasantries. In fact if you find yourself in a quiet part of any town or city in the province it is rare not to get a smile or a nod from the occasional passer-by. Ask directions and you will be answered in such gesticulating detail that will guarantee you now either know the way as if you lived here or the sheer amount of information will only confuse you further. Business traveller or tourist you will find a vast variety of things to do and see in Northern Ireland. You will nearly always be pleasantly surprised and come to appreciate many qualities that have been forgotten elsewhere.
