Nightlife in Belfast

Pubs with music are an integral part of the social scene. In the province's villages the music is most likely to be lachrymose Country & Western, but in Belfast there is an attractive range of bars supplying traditional music, jazz, blues and rock. The most popular areas are Great Victoria Street, Dublin Road, Bradbury Place and Botanic Avenue areas which feature a milieu of bistro, boulangerie and bazaars. Of late the revival of the old dockside area continues, with many old Belfast bars being renovated and now offering traditional surroundings, good food and atmospheric live music.
